Our class has been working very hard to earn 10 compliments
from other teachers and adults at school. The class can earn compliments by
walking in a straight and quiet line, helping our friends, and making good
choices even when they think no one is watching! We finally earned our 10th
compliment and we celebrated on Friday! The kids voted and decided they wanted to
celebrate with an iPad party. It was great! Now we are working to earn 10 more,
this time, for a donut party!
This week we will continue learning new strategies for reading, begin working on blends (ex. --ck like in pick) in Letterland, review 2d and 3d shapes, and take a break from our author study to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! On Friday we will be hunting for a leprechaun, if you would like to send any goodies for his cauldron, feel free...but don't tell the kids!!!
Field Trip
Kindergarten is going on a field trip ON MONDAY at 9:00 to
see Seussical, a musical of Dr. Seuss’s most loved stories narrated by the Cat
in the Hat himself!
Lunch:
Please Bring a Bag Lunch MONDAY!!!
We will be eating in our classroom once we return.
