We had such a great time at Marbles! A HUGE thanks to all the parents who chaperoned! The kids enjoyed all areas of the museum. After exploring the museum we all had lunch together and then headed to the IMAX theater. We watched "Born to be Wild" in 3D. This movie was about two special women who take in orphaned elephants and orangutans. We watched how the women and their helpers care for and feed the babies as well as prepare them for their future life, back in the wild. We all loved the movie and learned a lot about what animals need to survive. It was the perfect way to kick off our animal unit! I have posted pictures from the trip in a slide show to the right.
